The second Vindicators cover - another old pic of the characters I created a few years back with Geoff Pearson. Once again fantastic colouring by the sinister green lighting effect on the bad guy's flying craft behind the main cast is a great touch. Ah, one day I'll go back to this project...Related content

What are these characters names? Maybe if everyone was properly introduced someone just looking around your gallery would get the itch to do some fanart.... I'm just sayin'

lol! subtle! I like it! OK - a stroll down memory lane... the girl in yellow and black is called Flare (gymnastic, energy powers) then the codenameless guy next to her is Dave - a sorceror's apprentice who gets lectured by his dead masters cat Balthasar (best character!) The wonderwoamn with the sword is Paragon, the Iron Man is Dreadnought, and the man in black is Metatron, a sort of sneaky assassin type.
The girl in the background is called Vigil, apparently...

I'm not surprised you missed it, since it was only released as a small press comic a few years back - only sold in a few comic shops and at a couple of conventions. It's strange, even tho I never got the chance to see the acual comics a nostalgic feeling sneaks into my mind watching these pages.

Maybe it's because I'm lazy sometimes and want to do the best possible images in as short time as possible.
( Full-time job, watcha expect? 
What better to do there than a woman in a white suit?
Okay, I admit it: The fact that she's such a beauty might play a role as well here
I'd love to involve her in my "Rufus switches sides" story if you don't mind.
Who better than a telepath to help seperate the mind of the beast from the mind of the human?
But I'll get back to ya on that later

I'm not sure myself when I will start this story, cause right now Rufus is doing to well as my major badass.
The story sees him starting to fight his inner demon again. I don't have all the details yet, but it will start with him and Blaze side by side facing the monster that turned him into what he is today: the Shadow Ghoul.
While this Rufus' human side starts to shine through again.
In the end Viper will also play a major roll again ... my whole "roster" will.

Vigil could be the one who helps him clearing his head. I don't know what exactly she's capable of ... would it be possible for her to shield his human mind and assist him in fighting back the monster inside his head?

No I hadn't seen that before - nice design.
Vigil can pretty much do anything psychically at least - her limitations are physical and moral, so yeah she could definitely do that if you can think of a worthwhile way of including her in the story. I had a blast drawing some astral plane sequences in the W4STE storyline: [link]

I'll think of something.
( If I don't come up with anything better she'll get involved because of Viper who collects beings with super-powers to enlarge her own might )
But I'm confident I will come up with something better. It will take time until I even start this anyway.
But until then Vigil could have some run-ins with some of my OC's ( Yenna, Marcia, Viper, Rufus ) and I will draw that! Take it to the bank

I remember reading about this one on your vigil comic site, with all her background stuff. I really like the image, it's very dynamic. I only wish she'd had the long hair then, it would have looked awesome all swirly and blacking out the sky. ^^

It's not very good by my current standards - but I'll be posting some of it as a part of a a series of bonus features showing Vigil's character development over at the Cranky Octopus site. Not exactly sure when it will post yet!

Sweet pic. There's definately a noticeable difference between this Vindicators image and the last one. Most noteable is the stronger composition and willingness to cram that background full of detail. Really nice job!

Yeah, there's definately an improvement - and about a year I think, between these two pics - although this one is quite old too now. Newer Vindicators art to come. I've been talking about going back to it for ages - and now I've put these pictures up I've gotten my mojo back! lol!
