Description
The July Challenge continues!Powerless without her Centauri League Battleskin, our heroine has insisted on accompanying the Thunder Force team in their final assault on Terminus' HQ. It now seems like a bit of a mistake! Saving the life of a team mate, Centauri is shot in the back and blasted into space.

Luckily the cavalry has arrived, so Centauri has a new uniform, her powers back and a bit of back up just in time for the epic finale!
Only one page this month from me, but considering how this year is going, one page on time is amazing! Next month, the final chapter - and we'll finally get to see the rest of the Centauri League!

Glad to see this as I was a bit worried about one of my favorite redheads getting spaced! How did she lose her suit in the first place? I tried to go back through the previous pages, but don't really see any reference to that storyline.Β

If I'd had a bit more time, the plan was to have it appear that she was genuinely dying - life flashing before her eyes and all that. But, in retrospect, it's probably better this way - give her the suit back and let's have some action! Roll on August

Have you ever considered taking a hiatus from the monthly DU to do a long-form story with her? So you can take it at your own pace and tell the story you want to without any constraints?

Not really - It's the timing issue really - The challenges are pretty much all I can do at the moment - but who knows? If a good idea comes along! Centauri was really just created to be for the DU Challenges but has really grown on me over the years - so I think she has the potential for something a bit more substantial.

Good question! We've heard (but not seen) a conversation between our Centauri and her superior in Centauri's very first appearance -
so this unseen conversation is a deliberate echo of that page. We're finally going to see the Centauri League revealed next month!
