I think the reason to use zodiacs wasn't so obvious on the beginning. At first, I just want to draw my own sign, because in my opinion, artists aren't very kind when comes to Scorpio, so I wanted to do it on my own.
Then I realized, it may be awesome, if I'll made whole zodiac, not only mine
And I have to say, that was one of my better ideas
Also, I love star constellations, it also may be a reason why I'm willing to do zodiacs, and anything space/stars related

Wow love how yours turned out. I've been toying with doing something zodiac related but not with ponies. Im torn because I also like the chinese zodiac story with the animals themselves. Really do love how this turned out for you. Should be very proud
