I missed out on MAR10, but I'll upload this anyhow 83Maria's alt timeline is different from her counterpart's. She is not the same character as "Jumpman" meaning that I have to explain how that works---Here's what I came up with:
1981: She's a bit young to fight giant gorillas...
1985: If you're wondering why Maria's father is so protective, here's you're answer. This also explains why those sprites are so short...
1991: The color scheme is much lighter in color, this probably happened due to the added depth of shadows that Super NES games could produce
1996: Mari(o)64 is one of the first games where the audience hears the protagonist speak...In all his crazed lunatic glory. Maria likewise acts like this because in her timeline this is the first game she doesn't need supervision
(Before you get on my case for this, ROMPER64 is the alt universe-version of the 2004 DS remake...where Maria is 25)2002: Sunshine is where the universes differ, Maria's not wearing overalls to a tropical island
