Animated Atrocities Ben10 Alien Force Season 2 Episode 7 Grounded ReviewI am a Big Fan of the sequel series of Ben 10 (Original Series) and i am also a Fan of Ben 10 Franchise ,Not Ben 10 Reboot of course.
This episode is about Ben getting grounded for no reason and his parents treating him like a shit ,of all the cliches that Ben 10 should avoid is the Overprotecting Parent (Unreasonable Over the Top Idiotic Overprotecting Parent That has NO Idea what he/she/their doing) i hate this cliche so freaky much and it need to die!
Great Series but this episode is Awful.

I thought Alien Force was inferior to the original series in some ways.

They made Ben's parents seem like jerks. To be fair they did change their ways...at the end of the episode.

I hate this episode so much that it makes my blood boil with rage. First, Ben's parents ground him because he's saving the world? They should be proud of him! I know I'd be if I had a kid that was a superhero. Second, his parents would actually let Kevin die because Ben's being punished! That's just cold and heartless! Third, they don't even bother to listen to his side of the story! Fourth, at the end of the episode, Ben is let off the hook, but Gwen isn't? WTH?! I HATE this episode so much! I consider it one of the worst episodes of the show!

I had the unfortunate chance of seeing this episode when my brother was watching it.
Loathe it as much as I loathe the series.
And the one thing that gripes my cookies:
Gwen Tennyson: Why did you tell them? You've gone nose to nose with Vilgax without even blinking!
Ben Tennyson: Vilgax never gave me the "mom look."
MOM LOOK, SCARIER THAN AN EVIL ALIEN OVERLORD?!!!!!!
To this version of Ben I say: You're pathetic!!!

The opposite, this episode show the movies weren't canon and any parent would be sick worried with all things, specially as the OS showed nobody knew what was Max Real work was(remember before retcon he was jsut a goverment agent, before a intergalatic cop in the sequels) and the suprise seems Carl was not so helpless bistander, maybe the script might have been better but the idea was solid and even original, Ben 10 was far different Marvel and DC(sans Static Shock, but Static Shock tv series was something incredible) and that chapter showed it, again might have been a little underwhelming but for me was a nice chapter.

I do have some things to say to you
1) What the movies had to do with this episode and for the hull Alien Force series?
2) Which Movies of Ben 10 are you talking about? (the only one i can think of that it was based on the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien is Ben 10 Alien Swan but this movie came in November 25 2009 ,it came almost a year after the episode was air)
3) "any parent would be sick worried with all things" ,Yes they can be worried about their child and yes they have the right to protect him but that doesn't mean that they have to go into an unreasonable level that lead to idiotic situations ,Ben's parents literally forcing him to do stop doing he job (he responsibility) and treating him like a baby and not to mention that while he parent forcing him to stay home Kevin and Gwen were fighting the DNAliens (Highbreed) and they were losing (really bad) ,he parents literally put in danger Kevin and Gwen (which i need to remind you that it is she Cousin a member of he Family) he friend and also one of their own family members.
4) "the idea was solid and even original" Um..sorry but No is neither solid or original ,this idea has being done before any many series and movies (and i think video games starting to do that too) ,most people (including me) don't want to see the parents of the character (or the character himself) being Overprotecting Parent that goes into a unreasonable levels (especially if being writing horribly)
5) I don't remember Ben 10 was ever inspired or either took ideas by any Dc or Marvel Character ,it was more inspired and took ideas from Anime

All aliens and the special good ridance they knew about all Ben in that , again the episode might have been better but showed that, the tennyson as people few other series do that ( i think only static shock do it)
