A helpful (hopefully) tutorial on how to submit news using the new Sta.sh system! This has been a common question around the community lately so I thought I would help shed some light on it! Enjoy!

You know considering Sta.sh was supposed to be less painful to use, the fact that it needs a tutorial because it's so difficult is really, really, sad.

Sometimes people need guidance no matter how easy or hard something may be to use. This is just a way to show you how to navigate something that is relatively new to DeviantART and expose deviants who might not even be aware of this functionally (:

This is also sad. It means you're doing something the DA staff should be doing. (Not that what you're doing is a bad thing, you just shouldn't have to) But I digress...
It is still a nice thing for you to have done and you do make a good point.

I'm doing this for the community and because I am a community volunteer of DeviantART and want to. I want to help and also expose the community to new and useful things, tutorials included. Being a community volunteer gives me a great foundation to provide whatever resources I can for the community of DeviantART.
There are plenty of other tutorials out there made by members of DeviantART because they want to be helpful.

When stash writer was not working the other week I submitted news the old way and is still ended up submitting it as a personal journal. I dono if it was a glitch for the day but I'd be cautious when submitting the old way if you really want to make sure your submission is going into the news section.
