Is there any way to avoid submitting to Sta.sh?

You can use the "submit" button at the top of your navigation bar as well

That is what I do, but apparently I have a glitch where even though I don't submit to Sta.sh, it says it goes to it anyway but the deviation isn't there

Keeping things clear and concise without going into too much detail is not the easiest task. Good use of screen shots helped greatly here Did you write it in sta.sh?

Hello!
All the screenshots where taken using sta.sh and the example was written in sta.sh as well! So yes, for the purpose of this tutorial, everything was simulated while using sta.sh. I wanted to be exact with the steps
I hope you found it useful!

PS: The screencaps where taken before they updated the 'look' as it's obviously not the green anymore at the top and a few more additions where made when it released. I'll be updating this tutorial when I have a chance! ^^

Afraid not. You can only view something in someones Sta.sh if they give you the link to view that particular piece

You can use Sta.sh to store images, collaborate with other artists and write journals

And now it all makes more sense.
Personally, I still hate Sta.sh Writer nearly as much as when it first came out, but that's because I have no use for it xD
I'll be sure to check this if I ever need to use it though, thanks for making this tutorial!

No problem and all things take time to get used to

PolarisAstrum In reply to KovoWolf [2011-12-03 16:56:52 +0000 UTC]
Well, it's not a matter of getting used to it in this case, it's a matter of not having a use for it. However, when I start doing feature journals again, I can see how this can be quite useful. On the surface, it just looks like a lot of work and clicking for writing a simple journal, which is why I hope the old way sticks around too :/

Right now you can use one or the other. Which ever you are comfortable with I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

Very nice.
I think my favorite thing though is that you can use skins for regular lit as well. I have found it quite useful.
