You are right. It was just a dream. The drawing is based off of the dream or what she could have had if she had a good ending. Just a hypothetical good ending.

I really wish they did the good ending. What happened to Saki and her child is horrible and depressing. She really should have stayed as a loner. In high school I was a loner too, but it didn't bother me.
Metamorphosis is the sort of hentai in which you use tissues to start with for (you know), but at the end use the same box of tissues to cry into.
