That's so sad. It's so nice, but you seem to have such problems with bleeding . It's so hard to fix that kind of issue, too.

it actually looks good without the color on the face an hair. I think it has more of an impact.

Aren't your inks waterproof ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koyamori In reply to Mathiwi [2008-03-27 03:52:41 +0000 UTC]

Thanks dear! Mucha is totally one of my idols

And yes they are waterproof once dry. But it's mainly because the sketchbook paper quality has gone down for the brand I use...)':

nashi-dot-dot-dot [2008-03-25 01:38:05 +0000 UTC]

were you using steadtler colored pens? I've used those to ink what was going to be a water color picture... that resulted in epic bleeding as well.

fuuka [2008-03-24 23:50:09 +0000 UTC]

p.s. nice roses and eye lashes. and neck. can't forget the neck.

fuuka [2008-03-24 23:48:37 +0000 UTC]

What the pagan roast. Are you talking about.

You know, I'm really into the way you do your hair. I don't know why. It's something to do with the random-yet-somehow-patterned-ness.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koyamori In reply to fuuka [2008-03-25 04:12:24 +0000 UTC]

I'm totally serious. The major part of the bleeding on her forehead/nose area and has been painted over with white ink and edited in photoshop*__*;; (Thank jebus for white ink)
It seems like the paper quality is changing as I'm going through this particular globetrotter sketchbookD: If I use a tough eraser the pulp of the paper starts coming off. *cries*

Anyways, thank you^^
You should try drawing the hair like this. It's easy and looks semi-neat.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fuuka In reply to koyamori [2008-03-25 14:01:36 +0000 UTC]

gahahahahahaha now i understand what you ere talking about...... *_*

the pulp comes off? DISCARD BOOK IMMEDIATELY!

And I shall try the hair. Some time.

koyamori In reply to fuuka [2008-03-27 03:13:01 +0000 UTC]

Well it was been nice at the beginning so... it deserves a second chance?XD
I'm using yours right now. Do you find different paper changes your style? D:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fuuka In reply to koyamori [2008-03-27 03:17:03 +0000 UTC]

totally. it's got to do with how much lead the paper takes. like, my little book i can do really light lines and so i go over it like a million times and it'll still be totally fine, but the other stuff they're just...... constant erasing......

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koyamori In reply to fuuka [2008-03-27 03:31:48 +0000 UTC]

I used to hate the heavy-tooth stuff because it interfered with lining, but not it's awesome because you can erase multiple times without damaging the paperXD
p.s. How's the red pencil you got? (I should mail you the blue one)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fuuka In reply to koyamori [2008-03-27 13:23:06 +0000 UTC]

red pencil's great but i ain't using it for underlining. lol.

and don't worry about the blue pencil.....

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koyamori In reply to fuuka [2008-03-28 03:12:44 +0000 UTC]

You're using it like a colour pencil? Wowza!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fuuka In reply to koyamori [2008-03-28 05:12:57 +0000 UTC]

somewhat. only for pencil sketching, and then i decide to add lips or whatever.....

yeah i've discovered that there really isn't too much point to the red pencil because i can't erase it completely and i don't know how to erase it digitally..... oh well.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koyamori In reply to fuuka [2008-03-29 04:19:09 +0000 UTC]

Well, there's the patch tool thing in photoshop, you just clip "Alt", select a clean area of reference, and then dab on the booboos c:

And d'aw... it's not much different from pencial crayon eh..>:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fuuka In reply to koyamori [2008-03-29 14:33:38 +0000 UTC]

it erases. just not completely. i'll keep using it and eventually i'll get the hang of it.
