Sunset Shimmer Fall Formal Princess . . Year 1! So great!

She looked almost surprised there on that first photo, even genuinely thankful and bashful - like it's the first time she felt liked. The time her true self shone through, I say. She looks a little bit less so and more... well, like a villain in this redraw, but still a much understated one compared to the other photos. And it's a very fine drawing as is.

Sunset Shimmer, to me, is the best thing to happen to the franchise. If I had to pick only one favorite, it would always be her. What I love about this is how pure and innocent she looks as she started out in the human world. Those big bright eyes and sweet smile radiate pure joy. She looks like a Greek goddess in her dress and I really love those earrings. I just wish I could hug her, she's so sweet! Fantastic job!

Y'know, based on how she looks in her freshman year photo (that you wonderfully redrew), I'm guessing she was just happy that people liked her. It was probably only later that she saw controlling people was easier that working hard to give them a reason to like you...

I remember this picture from the films. In so many ways, it was Sunset's turning point.
She was so happy that everyone was reaching out to accept her. If she'd been able to surrender her ambition and embrace the love and friendship her fellow students had given her at this celebration, I think that she would have been a much happier person.
As it turns out? This just strengthened her ego and external validation issues. Her path to that confrontation at the Fall Formal was set.
Whilst I think it was a shame that Sunset destroyed this picture in the video for My Past is Not Today, I do understand why. This is just another memory of the path she bitterly regrets.

So is his hobby drawing ponies, not a job!

Look, even I was disappointed when he after two months of inactivity (the last art was the character Sapphire Shores) instead of making a new drawing of another character of MLP did the Robot Masters of Megaman as females!
So I wanted at any cost that he resume his gorgeous MLP speedpaint series but i made a mistake telling him all the time, I was so worried that I thought he no longer continue his MLP fanart, but also because he didn't answer me
I give you some advice: If you do not want other MLP stuff, go to see another artist that not make MLP art because drawing MLP stuff is also one of the hobbies of ShadowSquirrel.

I think this is fantastic because you drew her with obvious musculature and a realistic neck width. Most artists draws women with thin, "feminine" arms and thin long necks.
I really appreciate that you made her realistically bulky! I admit at first it jars me to see her -a feminine woman- have such obvious muscles but then I realised that all this time I unconsciously believe that all feminine women must have soft and smooth features. That was a misguided view and you helped me tremendously by just this one picture.
