Another wonderful piece by one of my favorite artists...
This one in particular stands out to me due to her expression - that cute, startled, slightly unhappy, slightly clueless look of incomprehension perfectly fits the situation. Β As with all your pieces, the body positioning is great, especially the slightly raised wing and the hoof raised in surprise. Β The use of colors is great, nice and vibrant, fitting to a beach scene, especially the bright turquoise of the ocean. Β You do a great job of blurring the background so it does not distract from the focus of the piece, the increasingly damp princess pony.
My one complaint would be some of the larger squiggly lines used to show water on Cadance (Cadence?) - I feel that sudden line on her neck especially feels off and does not really look much like being soaked. Β The short lines and dots, however, look perfect in my opinion. Β Also excellently done are those tiny drops bouncing off her ear and horn - those really help put her into the scene.
But amazing job regardless, I love all your pictures!
