Celestia was explaining how the Crystal Empire's aura can affect Equestria in general. She used two vibes - one of radiant love and hope, and then she simulated one of dark hatred. The simulated dark vibe made the projector crystal create crystallized darkness (which she dissipated soon after with her sun magic).
