"This is one of three entries for Monty Oum's Rikku Design Contest that's taking place as I type this. Since he's asking for an original dress sphere, I was thinking..."

"What wasn't used in the last two movies?"

"............"

"Swords! That's it!"

"So I chose the Paladin for the dress sphere. I'll work on the sword and the gun on her belt later. I have two more ideas I want to push in later on, but this is the one I hope that gets chosen since I want to see a swordbattle go on."

"......wait a sec... That girl from FF8 used a gunblade.... Oh."

"The minute I found out I'm a candidate for the movie, I got really excited and found the inspiration to make a character sketch if I won. Of course, I saw other Rikku designs and saw how well they were all presented. Well, I still have hope, right? I'm not willing to give up now."

"I didn't notice this, but Rikku's holy sword and holy gun can be utilized as a Devil May Cry kind of fighting. I can totally dig that."

"If I do get chosen, I HAVE to get to Anime Boston next year then. Since I live in MA, it should be no problem getting there. Bah, even if I'm not chosen, I'll still go anyway, to check out the next awesome Dead Fantasy."
