Personality: Colorado is a very easy going guy. He likes to engage in friendly competition with his teammates for sport, and basically is described as a guy you’d love to go pub crawling with. He really knows how to help his wife wind down, even though he knows there’s no way he’ll escape her chiding if she catches him doing something really stupid. He and California have an almost brotherly bond to them, considering how much they joke around, challenge one another, and how much Tenn yells at them both.
Relationships: Tennessee (wife), Washington (former training teammate), Utah (former West Coast teammate)
Armor Enhancements: Augmented strength, Healing Unit
Specialization: Expert training in espionage, infiltration, and physical combat.
Preferred Weapons and Fighting Techniques: Assault rifle, Fists and bar brawling.
Backstory: Colorado was an infiltration specialist for the ASIS for many years; a legacy after his father and grandfather. He met his wife Tennessee on a joint mission with Neo Britannia’s aid on an off world sting operation. When she was conscripted for Project freelancer, they journeyed off world to get married, and then he volunteered to join the program as well. They were separated, him assigned to the West Coast Division while she was sent to the Gulf, until the Division restructuring, when they were finally reunited on the same team.

I said I was going to do formal profiles for my Freelancer babies for my fic I’m working on. I found a profile template I liked, but I recreated/modified it to fit better for the information I needed/wanted to give.

You can tell what I drew and what I didn’t I used an armor generator thing first (with some PSing on Monty and Ham of course), then I spring boarded from that as I drew, so yeah my drawings aren’t 100% accurate to any game armor, but hey I’m trying. Any similarity to anyone else’s character of the same name is totally coincidental; I actually had the “game models” generated before I found the profile template. I Googled for their weapons; I can’t really draw weapons that well either People who know me know where to find the foreshadowing in details

Few other notes…when I said “Neo” in the nationality, that was my lazy/easy way to show that they grew up in some space colony thing without picking a specific place to name “The Red Republic” is an amalgam of the Asiatic/Oriental countries (people familiar with my past work will remember that I did the same thing in Jerricho). So yeah “Neo” means born in space, no “Neo” means they were born on Earth basically.

But all in all I’m very happy with how these came out. After doing these I want to go back and rewrite some parts of my story now to include more of these guys, and since I haven’t typed any of that yet…I totally can and no one will notice lol. But yes, these are my freelancer babies, and I love them dearly. Hope you enjoy them too.
