Description
Ilfracombe, Devon. That shut down Collingwood hotel freaked me out a little!
EDIT: I made the file size slightly bigger and got rid of the sign on the lorry. I prefer it better this way

I'm not gonna lie, the second I saw your page, my thoughts were: Oh shit. Another fucking scene/emo kid just ruining the gothic subculture and taking shitty pictures.
But then I saw your work and I was like SHYEAH!
This is really beautiful. I really like how contrasted it looks! Is this HDR?
Anyways, it's beautiful. Scenery, location, angle, lighting, and all. I really dislike a lot of black and white photos, because a lot of them are shitty pictures turned black and white to look pretty. But not this one. This one looks AMAZING black and white and I prefer it that way. You have stunned me, doll

Haha! Why, thankyou!
I seem to make that impression on alot of people so I'm very happy that you looked at my work!
I understand what you mean by the whole 'bad black and white pictures' thing; I actually shot this in black and white (I just love my SLR) so I was very happy with the result. And yeah, of course a little bit of touching up was done but just for the lighting and contrast. Thankyou very much for the comment, I really appreciate it

You're welcome!
I am going to buy my Nikon D3000 today, and I was wondering if you think it's more difficult looking through the view finder as opposed to live view? Because I am used to using the LCD as a view finder

Ahh, well I'm not going to lie; at first I was a bit angry about the no live view but I started to get used to it after a while. I mean, it's slightly harder to see the image you want to capture but it still works very well. The features are excellent and it's really comfortable to hold. It's definately an amazing camera and I'm sure you'll be very happy with it

Thank you very much! And may I suggest you draw a gothic portrait? I love your scene one, it's quite talented (even though I have a hatred for the sceneys XD).

Haha, sure! I'll have a go! I've always wanted to draw a gothic portrait. And I don't really like scene kids either, they're just fun to draw, lots of colours but sure, I'll have a go and thanks!
