One of my many photos from the Team Starkid Meet and Greet in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Team Starkid gave us a standing ovation and clapped because we flew from England. They also gave us around $90 worth of free merchandise, let us hang out with them for 3 and a half hours, eat pizza with them backstage, saved us seats in the front row for the second session and took group photos with us! They are lovely, kind and genuine people! We couldn't have asked for more!

Really? I wasn't too dissapointed! We knew from facebook messages from Starkid that Darren wasn't going, but the others were so lovely so it didn't even cross my mind that he wasn't there! It would've been awesome to have seen Joe Moses and Jaime Lyn Beatty too but they were in New York at the time!

The girl who took it was great! I didn't catch her name but she took my camera from me and shot over 20 different versions of this! This one is definately the best! Lauren is so adorable :3

Joe Walker is very nice! We talked to him quite alot, but not as much as Nick Lang, Brian Holden, Joey Richter, Julia Albain, Lauren Lopez and Nick Strauss! Joe gave us both hugs and said he appreciated us coming so far and that he was happy that we could stay for pizza! He went into shock when he realised I was the girl who sent him the drawing (he stuck it on the Starkid fridge) and told us that he loved it!

I hung out with the girls in the Perry shirts afterward--we stuck around to see Placebo after the meet-and-greet. They flew in from Alabama and were pretty awesome people.

Ooh! We were going to see Placebo but we talked to Devin and Lily about it and they said that apparently it wasn't very good. Was it good?

The plot was pretty average, yes, but the music was great. All the singers and songs were good enough to give me goosebumps. Besides, it was free, and three other girls from the first time slot hung around to see it with me. I'd say hanging out with StarKid fans for a few hours and getting to listen to good music was worth a so-so storyline.

Yeah, we were definately thinking about going since it was free! haha! but we grabbed some food downtown instead and did a little explore! that's so awesome that you got to hang out with Starkid fans though! did any Starkids actually go to see Placebo? the music for Gibson Fleck sounded awesome, we heard it when we were backstage! I would've loved to have seen that!

It was really good. It was really funny and sweet, the music rocked, and the dancers made me jealous of their mad skills. I'm hoping they release the soundtrack, because I really want the songs. And yes, there were StarKids--Tyler Brunsman was in it, and Joey Richter and Amalea Chinnis (stage manager for AVPS and one of the helpers at the meet-and-greet) were there.

Amalea was so lovely when we met her, she took most of our photos for us! I didn't know she was the stage manager though! Wow!

Ali wrote the book, yes. AJ and Carlos did the music. So yeah, it was really good.
I love Amalea, she's such a sweetheart. She was actually the one to give me my ticket to AVPS--she came out to where I was waiting and explained that they had a cancellation, so she was going to put my name on the official list so I was guarenteed a seat. So I'm kind of fond of her.

Thanks! It was great to meet everyone! Everyone in Michigan is SO lovely and awesome! My mum loved it so much that we're thinking of moving there in a couple of years; you're all just so much more nicer and welcoming than us English! Thanks for taking care of us!
