This was the cutest surprise ever.

After taking my Antima portrait [link] out of the frame for scanning, I discovered this awesome and unexpected side effect...

Years of compression inside the frame made the fixative impress an "Antima-shaped" mark on the surface of the glass! This is so nice... it makes me think of some artwork carved on perfect crystal... Not bad for being totally unintended! Many thanks to the fixative which did much more than its job.

It's too bad for the bright spot in the bottom part, but this was the only combination of angle and background that could highlight the "drawing". Also, unfortunately the glass is not spotless (can you imagine why I did not wash it? )

For those among you who were wondering: the original drawing is saved, and in perfect conditions. [link]
