Description
The first variation here is where I just turned the contrast way up on the cloud layer. I think it has an interesting sort of posterized feel to it, and sort of a... radioactive feel, I think.

The second one, I just turned the red on the octopus transparent. You can see behind him where I haven't worked the clouds or the flame very much. I think it gives the effect of the octopus being a giant jelly-lens or something.

The last one, obviously, I turned off the outline. I think it looks pretty nifty, though the other elements of the picture would probably need to be adjusted to make it work.
