Description
This is one of my latest creations, Juukou Sentai Zectranger (Heavy Shell Taskforce Zectranger), or Power Rangers Chitin Warriors.They are based on Kamen Rider Kabuto. And the first team in my set of 3 "What ifs." Basically what if the Zecters, Zect, Kabuto and all them were in a Sentai/Ranger series instead of a Rider Series.
They utilize the inZects, and inZecter. The inZects are techno organic arthropods. While the inZecter is the brace that they are attached to to transform, with the call "inZect on, (inzect)!"
ZectHopper/Chitin Hopper's inZect, and inZecter are special.
Anyways the rangers are as follows.

inZect - Double Hopper
Weapons/gear- inZecter (Hopper Ver.), Hopper Booster (attach to arm/leg)
Mecha/Zord- Arm Hopper and Leg Hopper.
When they combine BeetZect 2 forms the legs, BeetZect1 forms the upper body, the Bee forms the head, with the Dragonfly, and Scorpion forming the arms.
The Zect Robo can combine with the GrandHopper to form the ZectKaiser.
Credit: Credit goes to Acatl of Rangerboard for the templates, and the detailing around the visors (excluding the Hopper helmet) , minus the ornamental insect on each helmet, which I did my self.
I did the hopper helmet, ornamental insects, Zect emblems, and designs my self.

Technically yes but it'd be a little funky i think to have a Blue and cyan in the same team, at least Ninja Storm/Hurricanger had them split into two teams. And At the time i did this Kyuuranger, as well as Kyouryuuger/DinoCharge wasn't a thing.

Chitin, refers the what the shells of beetles and other insect exoskeletons are made of. I'm horrible with pronounciation keys. Plus without a 10key - number pad, I can't make use of the Unicode symbols.
the Ch makes k sound. the fist i is long, the second is like e as in roses.

I remember that template. I use to experiment with it but decided to go for a simpler one.The tiny gold insects detailing the helmets along with the different chest sybols are phynominal...The sixth ranger looks phenominal...anyways it is awsome and I am going to look at more of your stuff now

Why thanks, I tried to come up with a good way to incorperate the symbols from the Masked forms of the Riders in Kabuto, and the bike shield things that came with Shochaku Henshin Punch hopper and Kick hopper.
Currently starting work on another set, this time from the 07 Rider series, and actually doing civilian forms for that lot. Just have to figure out what I want the civilian uniforms for them to look like.

Civilan clothing is difficult. When I put characters in normal clothing it always end up looking generic in some way...So I wish you the best of luck.

well I had the uniform done last night, but apparently I forgot to save it, damn, so now I'm gonna ditch that, I'll save time and just do the ranger forms of the next two groups.
Then after I finish those two groups I've got another idea I'm thinking of working on.

If only SPD was about armored warriors who's motifs are Arthropods, and fight other alien arthropod's called Worms. Utilizing stuff like .... Clock Up, Kabuto Extender, and other stuff.
The only thing I took from NS/Hurricanger was the Thunder/Goraijer/visor decoration. Which came from the Crimson Thunder ranger/Kabutoraijer. Well that and the idea of the circle on the chest.
Nothing at all came from SPD, I personally see no Deka in it at all. No Numbers, no Asymetrical patterns, no little things above the visors to denote the numbers on the uniform.
Really I don't see any SPD/Dekaranger in it when I look at them, would you care to elaborate?

The black areas on them reminded me of SPD/Deka. that's the only thing I whas refering to.

yes cept Deka had one arm that was black, they have 2 arms and 2 legs like that.
The design was based on the riders from Kamen Rider Kabuto, which have black legs, colored chest armor, and black arms in their rider forms.

Come to think about it, they look more like a Cross between NS/Hurricanger and the villian Psycho rangers/Nejiranger from PR in space.

Yeah the only PR/Sentai inspiration was the detailing around the visors, and the chest emblems. Everything else was due to the designs of the respective riders, well with the exception of the 6th.
The 6th is completely different. his helmet has some influence from Kamen Rider Punch Hopper, and some from the old school riders with the hopper motif, such as the ones in Kamen Rider the Next.
I find the fact that I gave him a shield to be funny. I needed a way to seperate him from the others, in KR Kabuto, the hopper riders lacked the Masked forms that the others have, which was heavily armored. They basically were stuck in Rider form which was the sleeker faster form, better fit for going on the offensive.
Since I didn't give the others armor, due it being a sentai/ranger what if.. sort of thing, I feel the 6th looks cool, since instead of the hopper not having the ability to "Cast off" he is the only one with that ability.
