Description
BeetomLarge, grasshopper-like insects that first appeared in Nintendo's 1994 Super Metroid Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) video game. Not unlike Metroids, Beetoms are life energy leeches. Utilizing its powerful hind legs, a Beetom will leap onto any organism that gets too close, and, once fastened, feed until either its host is dead or the insect is forcefully removed.
Materials:
Newsprint, Kleenex, white/hot glue, wire twist ties, and acrylic paint.

One of my all-time favorite Metroid enemies along with the Zeela. It's amazing how tiny this is without sacrificing any detail!
