You see, my version of SMBHotS Mario was kind of disappointed about SMG4 Mario acting like a spoiled child to his parents (if he has his parents in SMG4 Universe) or acting like a boss, so SMG4 Mario will NOT helping the people or doesn't care about to saving the princess anymore, but only cares about spaghetti.That's why SMG4 MarioΒ is selfish, lazy, and somewhat brain-dead.
So, SMBHotS Mario really don't like SMG4 Mario's lifestyle and claims that SMG4 Mario is a jerk...

I have a message for the Heroes of the Stars (ALL of them): I'm not sure if these are good or bad news, but SMG4 is at the mercy of MLG. Why? Because SMG4 movies are made in Source Film Maker, a product of Valve. Meaning that SMG4 is at Gabe Newell's mercy. If GabeN wants, he can delete SMG4's channel.

no seriously, If there was a part 2 of the video where Mario joins the circus after destroying the castle for the 472492nd time, the princess gets captured and SMG4 saves him and they need mario to save her. Mario intentionally destroys the castle and ends up in prison.

Also, SMG4!Mario can cause severe blindness (and death on occasion) by stripping himself naked, which he does a lot. And I mean A LOT: at some point, such an occurrence triggered ERROR:69 in a crowd of Aperture Sentry Turrets, causing them all to die instantaneously.

I have a personal headcanon that SMG4's videos take place in a reality within multiversal time stream "SM-G4.R64.696969ERROR4049001" (I made it up.) The drastic inconsistency in the SMG4-verse characters' mindsets might be because that particular reality is bipolar, as opposed to positive or negative polarity universes (in the former, our designated heroes are good and villains are evil, while in the latter, everything is reversed.) This could explain why SMG4!Mario is prone to going from unlikable jerk to dumb-but-nice guy to just plain stupid within a single hour.
