Description
Hi guys! Just want to introduce you this closed species I've been working on for a long time! They are kind of a counter-species of my Aracalies (Aracalies Species Info ) in the sense that they are born from faith instead of lies. The prototype shown here is one of my Willarcs, Gau (which means Nine) He's an old post box. Feel free to read more about his origins on his TH profile! toyhou.se/2678619.gau-nine-General info of Willarc
Willarc are man-made deities. “Artificial”, not in the sense that they are physically crafted by men, but these divine beings are a manifestation of the “faith” of mortals. As long as there are mortals who believe in the existence of a certain being, Willarc will exist. Willarc could be in anything; they could be an actually object, an imagination, a landscape, a natural forces, or even a concept like myth and urban legends. They thrives from being talked about, or worshipped, or feared of.
Symbolic meaning of their species name
Will - will power, the strong faith to believe in the existence of an abstract being, which is the essence of a Willarc's existence.
Arc - A part of the circle, just like how they co-exist with mortals. Also resembles the part of wheels that were showing in their ears. The wheels, which are used in mechanics, symbolize their "artificial" nature.
More specie info
- Willarc are not necessarily “good and perfect” in nature. They could be born from bad faiths.
- It’s common for Willarcs to born from people’s beliefs of certain gods. However, even though Willarc are often being mistaken by mortals as the god itself, they are not the real “god”(no matter the actual god exist or not). Despite being a higher existence compared to mortals, they are just a specie afterall.
- A Willarc’s power depends on the strength of the faith they are receiving. It’s rumored among themselves that, if a Willarc gets powerful enough they would eventually become a “real” god.
- Willarc doesn’t appear in front of mortals often, but they do need to maintain a certain level of interaction with mortals, in order to proof their existence.
- Willarc are superiors to mortals, but at the same time they are nothing without mortals.
Symbolism of Traits - Their satellite dish-like ears exist to hear their “proof of existence”, whether it's fear toward them, thoughts or prayers from those who worship them. If you talk about them, they will hear you.
- The wheel- the will(faith) keeps the wheel rotating.
- The Libra-those triangular pieces hanging on their ears. Those are weighing scales to weight your faith, and whether you are worth responding to.
- Their Sting-like sharp pointed tip feet have minimal contact to the ground. They are not as earthly as mortals, but they are not entirely off the ground like gods.
If you are interested in owning one, check out the upcoming auction I'm going to post tonight!
Here's a preview of their feral forms, it will come with their anthro form.
Thanks for reading! Hope Willarc interests you!
Just a reminder:
-Willarc is a closed species. Please do not create your own.

This is so unique to look at it, extremely pleasing to the eye. The sharp lines combine with the fewer curved ones surprisingly well. Matched with colors they curve well together. The very concept of this species is fascinating. Beings born of mortal Faiths. It's a unique idea I don't doubt this species, even closed off, will gather alot of fans. Great job.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I have the concern that the concept of this species might be confusing or hard to understand for some, so I'm really happy that you think their concept is working well. Didn't expect to get such a thoughtful input on them, I really appreciate this!
