Had this sketched out three weeks ago and finally got the chance to finish it.
I started this drawing before the mer-birds drawing I did of them. I'm trying to get them drawn in my own style, and I feel I'm making some good progress.
I'm quite happy with this piece. Did some experimenting here and there with the background.

What do you guys thing.

Artist Note: To those saying Penny is many years younger than Swift, you might want to do a double check on the age range. There's confirmation that Swift is 12, but before I found that out I had already considered him to be 12, Rod and Brody 11 and Penny 10. I highly doubt there is a big age gap between the cadets.
