From the Contra game, its a big turtle like boss that had a moth cannon on its back, barfs maggots, shoots lazere balls from the glowy heart thingy below its head and has nasty killer breath beam lol. Im like teh lazy and dont feel like colouring today xDRelated content

This boss is called "slave beast Taka". Taka is such a disturbing boss, especially what it does in Shattered Soldier...

Yeah that boss was awesome, man I loved that first one, and the entire Contra game too. Too bad the new one isn't as good as them old cool.
Though I playd the game in the European version called 'Probotector', Pal version. The difference is they are robots, I didn't mind though, cool robots are allways OK.

The moment you said Contra Turtle, I knew who you were talking about, even if I've never played Contra III in my entire life... I used to collect old strategy guides, and one of my oldest ones had a ton of different games, and Contra III was one of them, all in black and white screenshots and stuff... I always remembered this boss because his design ruled very much! The book itself referred to him by the name of "Beast Kimkoh" but I have no idea if that's an official name.
You did an awesome job here! Especially on the riblike back, and you 'translated' the arms REALLY well from floaty brainy 'pods' that they are in the game! If you ever get un-lazy, this would, honestly, look really awesome in color!

I know that your comment was posted 10 years ago, but...this thing's official name is "Slave Beast Taka".
And by the way...it reappears in Contra Shattered Soldier, albeit it has some new tricks.
Most particularly, the fight doesn't end when you've destroyed the head....you THEN have to take on its rear end.

Have the game for my GBA and I have to put Contra games on the RELLY hard to beat game list......the game so insane crap is flying at you ever second xD. Teh turtle guy is teh funk but so insanly easy to beat ......and I wondered what its name was, even if its not offical but its a better name then turtle thingy lol
