Took a few days of down time and colored Meral on one of them. In my little world there are half beings and lizards and bugs and murder and politics and sci-fi things, so I definitely needed to soften things up a bit and throw in a little comedic adventure as well.Painter X

Well, I had a bit of stylization going on in the drawing to begin with. Its when I lay down a paint layer that contradicts it when anatomy tends to get a bit on the weird side. The drawing wants to be pointy (the breasts) but the paint layer wants them to be realistic. Its hard to find the middle ground. Commence operation boobie conflict.

ah i see what you mean, (un)fortunately, not sure whether to consider it a good or a bad thing, i don't have those issues
best of luckst figuring it out, personally i think i'd go with the painting rather than the drawing, which is kinda weird, considering im majoring in drawing and i hate painting

We all differ. I'm still on the side of having a solid under-drawing. That always helps the painting shine through for me at least.
