Thanks... looked so much better in reality out in the cool morning air after a crap nights sleep in a damp, run-down wooden chalet.

Sounds like something you'll never forget even though you want to. I bet the real scene was awesome.

Reminds of the photo of Lysice.
I like this technique.
When I first see these pictures - I think, What!!

Yes... I like reflections. This was very early in the morning and the light was such that looking at the lake was like looking down into the sky.

Hmm... just have to fix my camera.
Should have done that long ago but... there is always something and... I am seriously lazy.
Photo is maybe not my thing or I don't have access to the tool I want.
I want a Leica that can zoom from real hard fisheye and all the way to a real long zoom.
I think that would be like 17.0 to 350.
Or maybe even worse.
I want a round fisheye and looooong zoom.
And Macro is seriously appreciated.
But if such a camera does exist - without shifting objective - it would probably cost a fortune.

It would be great to have a complex camera... but not worth it for me for the next few years. Children aren't really compatible with serious attempts at photography... they get bored too quickly
