I have read all of the comments on this comic. Here are some (very) rough statistics.
The majority are to the effect of "ow" about 45-60%
Another common thing is "eww" about 25%-30%
And a strange phenomena is somewhere along the way there were several pages commenting on the repetition of the comic in Kris' gallery.
Surprisingly, there weren't as many "sick" people saying that they would do the same thing in real life. (A positive outcome reflecting compassion in people as a whole? Or perhaps that enough people commented know the pain associated to piercings?)
My first reaction to the comic, and I am posting it because it has yet to be said, is:
