well if he cant hear he would just talk normally and the other two would have to do sign language so he would know what the other two were saying

but ppl that are deaf sometimes talk really loud, which gets annoying, and then action such as what happened in kris' comic happens, so its just easier and more safe to use sign language *karate chops chin backwards*

Some people go deaf after knowing speech but some are also born deaf itβs not hard for the already speaking to just talk their heads off but they also can't hear what they're saying so after awhile their speech does get bad and makes them sound retarded. The same can go for a person that was born deaf it take a lot of vocal training to speak although it might not sound very clear there are lots of born deaf people that have perfect speech. We just chose to sign to piss people off or to leave us alone.

It's extremely difficult to know you're talking normally, when you can't hear yourself. :s And if you're deaf since birth, you may never know exactly.

how many ASL students do you know that love to throw in (seemingly) random gestures during every conversation.
Bad enough when kids taking Spanish do it, but now I have to put up with someone miming away something, looking immensely pleased with themselves....
We should be allowed to use a left hook on any non-deaf kid using sign language around other non-deaf people who aren't in a class with them.
