1) she never said she was deaf but that she knew a lot of deaf people
2) I'm deaf and think its funny as shit.

I find that most people that get offended by this know deaf people and feel sorry for them. Or they just resently became deaf and are still trying to audjest to their new lives so its really touch for them. I know I went through that to I've been deaf for 12 going on 13 years on.
