wow I would LOOOOVVVEEE to try this on my neighbors. I have NOTHING againts deaf people but its just EVERY morning, at 6:45-7:00 am my neighbor goes to work and he lays down on his car horn just because he can't hear it. its SOOOO anoying! Thank you for drawing this. I love it. your style is charming and simple. I love it.

You should take note of the fact its not real, and all in good humor, like he said, he doesnt have anything against deaf people. so this is where the phrase, "learn to take a joke" comes in.

It's not that offensive.
Really, you could replace deafness with any other ailment in the world and the humor of the left hook would still work.
Deafness just works slightly better because of the sign language / punching connection - as in both things are done with the hands.
Nobody's laughing at violence against deaf people. We're all laughing at the notion that punching disabled/ill people works like punching a broken TV set. "If you don't know what's wrong, hit it. Works every time." Well, except for this time.
Besides, once we lose our ability to laugh at ourselves and life itself, that's when we're truly disabled.
