I think the best part about this comic is how many people say "You are heartless and you don't know what it's like to have a handicapped person in your life."
My brother is mentally handicapped...he watched me draw this.

I wasn't diagnosed with Aspergers until 2011. Before that I was in college for 12 years and I worked for the 2010 census. My job was to interview people. For my Bachlor's degree I had a dual major in Visual Arts 🎭 and Film And Television 📺 production with a concentration in animation and a minor Theather.
My masters degree in Special education and my teaching certification as teacher 👨🏫 of the handicapped and my other certifications are in recreation and art theraphy.
How ever I'm not aloud to teach because I've had amnesia.

well we need to remember there are many kinds of mental handicaps. i have autism, but i seem normal in most ways. i am intelligent, and have a sense of humor (a pretty dark one), but i have trouble dealing with situations involving people i don't know and will never speak to someone first, the few friends i have made talked to me first. and that makes it hard to be me, as i have been moving every year and a half since '05 and i have had only two people i considered "true" friends, plus a bunch of their friends. there's also the fact that, while i am intelligent, i only show it when inolving something i personally enjoy, and that doesn't include things i can get paid for. it makes it really hard to get a job and do well in college courses as the only reason i did well in High school is i had someone else place a system in my life, once i got the freedom of being a high school graduate, all my effort went to the bottom of hell. as i see it now, there's no hope for me to live normally, not like others. even harder now that i currently reside in poland and can't really learn a second language. i would probably have been able to learn a second language if i was taught while i was younger, but now... not likely.

It would be wonderful.
The mentally handicapped have such a wonderful outlook on life, as though they're still children. I think it would make being blind very enriching, because you gain not only a means of safe transportation but also a great friend.
