Grandma, stop digging the old memes back upThis is Bloody Mary (her in-game name is just ♥Mary♥ because the filter ruins all our hopes and dreams), my competitive shiny Mareep. bred her for me because I had traded her a million Pokémon for completing the PokéDex. Unfortunately, it took about 3 times longer than expected, so now I owe her again. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ *☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ

I really hate the games nowadays where you can't input any name you want. But this is cute. and I love how this reminds me of the 2nd episode of the original anime with the trainer holding up her damaged bike. Also that poor Tallonflame.

Yea it sucks. It would be fine if they had made it so that you just can't trade Pokémon with offensive names and can do whatever you want within your own game. (Wouldn't have helped me here since the Mareep was traded, but still.) People will always find new creative ways to write offensive words anyway.

Okay, I'll explain the joke. Your comparison doesn't work because this is not on the "I'm imagining life in the Pokémon world" level but on the "I'm playing a video game" level. When you try to hatch a shiny for thousands of eggs, you curse at the non-existant Pokémon like "Appear, you little bastard!" because that's more intuitive than saying "RNG, you better spit out the right number now!"
All the other people who commented and faved this could relate to this situation, that's why they found it funny.

I think about a minimum of maybe 8 pokemon hatched almost immediately, with one hatching within 2 eggs (Aron~), and at least 30 random encounters (including a shiny oshawott starter for a nuzlocke)

I have collected quite a few random encounters and Friend Safari ones that appeared within 10 minutes, but no luck with the ones I'm really trying for. xD
