Description Lets talk costuming making, putting the costume itself together isn't actually hard for me. Just long hours of labor. Since it's one of the costume that it is okay to put as much sparkle things on it, in fact after the photo came out I through I probably could of go even more crazy, but I actually am better at making clean & unique pattern dresses then adding a lot of sparkle on the dress. So I think I struggle. Also, while saying that I would really like the change a few things before my next shoot (whenever that is). like make the sleeve less puffy, make the petticoat smaller so I can actually look a bit taller and maybe make a corset for it. Finding all the material was what did my head it. It took three trips to actually find the fabric I okay with, and then another one to finish getting the lace and trim, bits and pieces. I also learn that accessories and I don't see eye to eye, I suck at them! I so didn't have the patience do the one by one beading. It didn't help that I manage to splash all the pearls of the necklace on the floor of the living room, all two string of them. It was a very devastating moment that I didn't have time to be devastated as I was running out of the time to finish it.

Anyway, I draft the pattern from previous princess seam patter that I have draft myself, just had to really extend the length, lots in fact. The sleeve is actually three layers for me to add all the lace at the end, one layer of lining, a layer of bridal Satin, and a layer of Chiffon. Dress actually one layer with the floral fabric top stitch on the red panel, and somehow make it look like two layers. Since the fabric was very heavy, two layers would be a nightmare. I got a pretty good workout just from dragging the dress from and to the sewing machine. Great fun! Nothing really difficult other then keep adding stuff on it, and patience.

The crown I guess it's just basic beading, some of pearl didn't want to go through the wire, which is frustrating at times. The wig I styled myself. Got a long curl wig and use the whole length to roll up the up-do on the top, and then the back I actually cut half of length off and what was cut off to make a weft and then sew on to get more volume at the back. Of course lots hair spray. The fan I bought.

I guess a lot of things are obvious to me might not to you, so if anyone is curious please feel free to ask. I'll try my best to answer, but probably not something like how you draft it step by step. ;;
