In ancient china, there was a small, mysterious country, called Yan.And Yan, it was filled with girls blessed with extraodinary powers.
They were the nine-tail foxes.
Lead by the Empress of Yan, each tail with brilliance, ever changing, able to mutate into any living creatures..

I love stories from Ancient China. Like the Monkey King and the White MOnk that set out for their Journey to the West. I don't think I know of the Yan country...or maybe I do, but I don't know how to distinguish the 2 from English and Chinese.

I love the old easter stories of the Kyuubi and nine taild Kitsune, but even more I love this work you done.

I think your composition is okay, but it could be much stronger. Add some interest to the lower left-hand mountain cliff. Two more building would be enough to do it. I just don't think the weight or the entry/exit line is strong enough here. The painting is good otherwise.
The female figure is a bit weak.
Her flesh is not illuminated correctly I see. Add warm harsh yellow sunlight from the clear sky, as it is on the mountains and fully formed shadows with reflected sky-blue snowlight within them.
Choose a point for the sun and stick to it. That blue shadow on the girls shin is really weird.
Neat legend and excellent creatures and setting!
