Description
This time it's a character of my own, one that anyone whose watched me for a while knows I draw all the time. However, this time I finally feel really satisfied with the result of this piece. I fine tuned some of the design details which had always been a bit sketchy, and I feel like I captured a look of hers which I had never succeeded in doing before. This is Masaya.I posted the line art in my scrapbook:

She is magnificent. The complexity of the lines and the details therin are simply beyond words in how beautiful they are. I love the expression on her face - the determination and fierceness that are visible. I also love that you have her hair down for once. It's nice seeing how such a small change can help redefine a character's look.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I actually really like the hair myself, and think it may be a more frequent part of her design. The color is a bit different as well, a bit darker than usual, and I think that made a good difference, too. Thanks again for your feedback : )

This is spectacular- the pose is strong and dynamic, the color and design are so sharp. Also the simplicity of the background created some great depth. I believe this may be your best depiction of Masaya to date. Keep it up!
