this is deliciously creepy. how did you do the linework effect? changed the colours of the black linework and then put them on different layers?

Thanks! And do you mean the pseudo-3D effect? What I did was I merged all of my layers into one layer and made a copy of that layer. Right-click the copy layer, go to Blending Options, go to Advanced Blending, uncheck R (the red channel) and hit OK. Click on the Move tool, then move the layer around with the arrow keys until you get the desired effect you want. If you get pieces of the layer underneath peeking through on the sides, just crop it out. It actually looks even cooler on a finished colored piece. Hope that helps!

DUDE. THIS is really awesome. Your vent art is just very inspirational, very focused and very intent. I love that.
You really put the feeling into it, and in a way, I feel very connected to this piece, it's an almost rotted pain expression, coupled with the fluid/blood, and the effect is kickass and really adds to the atmosphere, it's hypnotic and it's surreal. Mad love for this work, it's really superb. I wish I had more time to get around to commenting on art more, your work really deserves it, and I think this is a fantastic vent piece.
