Really great detail.

It seems to be a concensus that it looks like the innards of some creature...

Thanks

nice texstures. The whole piece looks like something anatomic (with polynuclear cell on the top of it?)

KristianS In reply to Iness69 [2008-03-13 20:32:19 +0000 UTC]

Thanks very much! yes I agree it is very organic/anatomical in nature and does it does look like a polynuclear cell on top (I love it when I have to look up a descriptive word someome posts)

Wow! It reminds me of an animal carcass with it's head cut off! I like the depth you gave it. Nice work!

Is this the tuit at work? I'm not feeling the effects yet.

Hmm, interesting description... never thought of it that way, but I see what you mean.
Yes this is TUIT work, I started it yesterday...

You'd be surprised . . .

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-13 19:54:38 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps... not much surprises me though

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-13 20:04:06 +0000 UTC]

What fun are you if don't surprise easily? Sounds like a constant challenge

Looks like I'm not the only one who sees this drawing that way . . .

hmmm... *ahem* I'm not quite sure how to answer that

Yep, seems like everyone agrees...

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-14 01:22:24 +0000 UTC]

I don't know how to respond to your inability to answer I think it's fun to surprise people - keeps them on their toes.

It just seems so obvious - I thought for sure that was part of your intention for it.

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-14 02:04:14 +0000 UTC]

Oh love surprising people too, but it takes a lot to surprise me
Speaking of surprises, did you find any initials or names during your journey through the maze?

Well... I don't remember what my original intent was, that was a long time ago, but I have thought it had an internal organ... feel? to it, but I like how =Iness69 put it (if you've never checked out her art, you MUST). anyway... Part of the name is really how I see it (conception).

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-14 02:25:01 +0000 UTC]

Yeah - T Y Z L

No - but now I guess I'll have to go try to see wtf you're talking about

I think the polynucular (pet peeve) cell looks like a cross section of the stump after the head was cut off.

The content isn't mature enough for me to think "conception" when I look at it . . .

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-14 04:30:56 +0000 UTC]

Ok wtf is T Y Z L?

It's a very unusual name hidden in there (Kiann), and my initials.

hehehe, yeah well... there are lots of things most people don't see as the way I do

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-14 04:45:54 +0000 UTC]

Those (white) letters are random (just they way your lines go) I was messin' w/ya.

That's a really pretty name (I'm guessing it's a girl). Is it pronounced KEYann or KYann?
I'm gonna go find it.

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-14 14:10:58 +0000 UTC]

Ok, I thought that might be the case
Yes, its pronounced KYann.

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-14 16:49:04 +0000 UTC]

I think I found the KS above the right rear leg () and Kiann just above that - don't know for sure though. I don't know that it could ever be found by accident!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-14 18:10:43 +0000 UTC]

Looking at it now, it's really hard to see in this version, it's a bit easier on the original, and in person... The Kiann is on the edge, the KIA are in the highlight spot... the KPS is at the top.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jadedlady In reply to KristianS [2008-03-14 18:28:37 +0000 UTC]

Well at least I found Kiann XD

Do you see the KS Just below that - the top of the S is pointing at the K in Kiann . . .

KristianS In reply to jadedlady [2008-03-14 18:50:12 +0000 UTC]

There are probbaly a bunch of KSs... being the conceited SOB I am... lol
