Well, Bugs wanted my virtual clone in a fur bikini picture, I thought I would throw in a belligerent T-Rex

Rex's are bad enough when happy. A grumpy one is just plain bad news, especially for scantily-clad maidens. She does look good in that bikini which should be some consolation to her as she gets chomped.

There is a story of a person being chased by a bear, and they would throw off a piece of clothing.Β The bear would pause and sniff the clothing, before continuing the chase.Β Eventually the person made it to safety before running out of clothes to throw off.Β I'm not sure if that would help you here.
If you can make it to the trees, you may be able to weave through some tight spots where the T-rex can't fit.
