Description
Since i'm making a game which focuses heavily on "Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga" styled sprites, I figured it was best to sprite other characters too, for some variety. I already animated a Pianta that someone else created a single frame for (but I won't submit it, since it's not fully my work), and now i'm working on Characters from Paper Mario and other games too. This is a preview of Sir Grodus in all his glory, do not steal please, since not only is it not finished, but I put a fair bit of work into it.Related content

That is really some top notch work. Very well done--I only have one complaint.
The bottom of his cloak moves when he walks but the bit of red at the top does not. That throws off the animation a little bit I think. It looks a bit odd, not fluent.
As for the actual sprite itself, it's perfect! You really know what you're doing.
The whole thing just screams 'quality' and 'style'. Nice job.

Yeah I know what you mean, the whole sprite needs work, for one, he's far too big, and i'd like for the animation to be much more fluent, thanks for your comment and the constructive criticism!!

Yeah, and i've also come to the conclusion that he's a little too tall, when compared to Bowser and Bowletta's sprites, so he'll be shrunken. As for animation, it still needs some tweaking. Thanks for the comments.

Very good, but in my opinion the bottom of the cloak should be animated a bit smoother (the parts on the right and left). But still, very good!

Oooh, excellent work Kritter! The pixels are perfect, very smooth animation and uses the correct ammount of walking frames, and accurately potrays the ML:SS style. I am impressed.

He may be a little wider, but I don't want him too big, and yeah it is for my game, not sure where yet, but i'll put him in somewhere.
