Description
I don't know about you guys, but watching Azula going crazy insane in the end of Sozin's Comet was extremely satisfying. It's an acceptable way to know that a villain that you've grown to hate broke down and shattered to pieces in the end.Practice run art. Trying to familiarize myself with Avatar's artwork and character design.

Azula's such a drama queen. Well, at least inΒ the end she got what she deserved: karmic punishment. Serves her right...

Azula is at least lucky her life was spared in the end, despite that she brought this upon herself. If they had not locked her away or restrained her, she might have gone on an out of control killing spree once her mind shattered. It was for her own good.

Azula brought this upon herself for her cruelty and ruining her relationships with her mother, brother and friends. Because of her lust for power she ended up alone.

For me, the greatest cruelty was leaving her alive. Better that it should be quick and clean than to be chained up in the dark, alone with ghosts that we saw were crowding a little too closely.

Yeah but I agree with you to a certain extent. I feel Zuko would feel complete pity towards his sister, therefore, he spared her life by sending her to a mental institution in hope of mending her shattered mind!

Now we know: locked up by Zuko in a mental asylum following her nervous breakdown, one year after Sozin's comet she joins him and team Avatar to search for her mother, revealed to be alive by Ozai. Unfortunately, her "vacation" in the mental facility doesn't seem to have done her any good: she still has allucynations of her mother, she struggles to separate the reality from her own immagination, and her final, secret goal is to find her mother before Zuko does... and kill her.
That's because she thinks her mother is the mastermind of a conspiracy that led to her defeat one year before. She think that, by killing her mom, she will be able to overthrow Zuko and take the throne for herself. Yes, she's definitely still crazy, and a continuous source of problems.

In the end I really felt sorry for her. Too bad they did not show what happened to her afterwards

I felt sad when Azula went mad at the end of Sozins comet. She was really suffering, and I think she had a softer side

If there's ever a Book 4, then I pray for the world. Azula has degraded to the point where she thinks the entire world's out to get her, which gives her the perfect excuse to kill as many people as possible.

Oh yeah, that part was great. The only problem I have with this pic is that to say both "Beaten" & "Defeated" in the title seems a bit redundant.

Heh, I need to check my redundancy cycle then.

On an insanity scale of 1 to 10, she'd have to be a 24, namely the insanity level of post-1986 Movie, G1 Galvatron!

It was a satisfying, yet kind of sad, way to go. Great job capturing her breakdown.

wow that's pretty good! Capture the described feeling well, anyway.
One thing though. I feel like the highlight at the knee is probably better in a light red color. I dunno if it's really like that, but that's my opinion.
