Description This the monster design I am most proud of. I feel like it came out really well :]. Onix was an inspiration here, I think. The picture itself is like four months old though haha.

Andesar
Lava Monster
Flame/Earth
Ht: 20 ft
Wt: 2000 lbs
Rank: Juvenile
Name: from andesitic (secondary magma)
Basaltar ([link] ) -> Andesar -> Rhyolitar

Info:
Andesar are born when many Basaltar are subducted into the earth, super-heated, and fortified with silicate minerals. Andesar can grow much larger than Basaltar because their increased silica contet gives them a more viscous form. Generally found in the craters of towering volcanoes, Andesar are very temperamental and have explosive mood swings. In battle they scald foes with hot gases, roast them with roiling magma, and shred them with their sharp obsidian horn. Extreme caution is advised when dealing with these anima of the earthly fame.

Moves:
- All Basaltar moves
-Fr/Er) Lava Bomb: fires a molten blob that solidifies in the air and explodes on impact.
-scratch – cut – slash – lacerate: cuts with sharp body part to damage
-Er) Mineral Edge: slashes with the keen edge of fractured crystal. May score a vital hit.
-Wt) Steam cannon: scalds foe with hot steam, may result in a burn.

Perks:
-Ablaze: deals fire damage when hit by physical attacks
-Super Heat: fire attacks do +50% (normal damage to earth types)
-Rock Skin: boosts defense
