Having grown up with Pokemon, I definately was excited to work on this one. Been a fan since the first game. I started with Charmander. He's always been my favorite. With the Pokemon on this character, I strayed away from the humanizing and gave the Pokemon Trainer the main focus. He would be more of a beast trainer in the storyline, and the "pokemon" would be his loyal friends. No pokeballs and whatnot, as this would be a bond beyond physical substance (like they are SUPPOSED to be, right? D:<).THIS took a while... In addition to doing 4 characters, I ended up drawing each individual scale on each Pokemon. Does anyone else notice that this set of Pokemon are all reptilian or amphibian? Yeah... I did. Well I like the epic Charizard the most. Lotsa horns. He needed a lot of horns. Ivysaur is basically an alligator with vines all up on it. With Squirtle, I removed ALL the cute and made him a sea turtle. YAY!

No, that's charmander. I think it is a toad, because if you look at other pokemon, they aren't exactly according to normal animals.

Thanks! Realistic Pokemon definately wouldn't fit into the game or series right now, but I think itd be fairly cool to see a reimagining of it.
