I am going to be completely honest about this. I do not like R.O.B. Now I can respect Nintendo and its history, but of all the many classic characters they could have included, they decided that a piece of god damn hardware would be a more interesting pick. WHERE'S MY BATTLETOADS?! I don't even care about his part in the storyline. Not at all.Three words about his design. "GO! R.O.B. GUNDAM!!!" Yeah, not too innovative, I know... But there ya go. He's a robot and I ANIME'd him. Result was Gundam.

Dude, Nintendo got fukin pissed off about the leak, took them down by "copyright infringement", the leaker was found and fired, and Nintendo is suing. sounds legit. Also, Chrom was just officially confirmed, and he was shown in the leak, both through pics and video. Not to mention the art they used for Chrom that was shown in the leak pics with R.O.B. matched his just confirmed and released art. So, i say the chance of it NOT being true is highly unlikely. You can deny it all you want, but i'm telling you man. It's real, and R.O.B. is back.

and even if Shulk was in the leak I don't think you should assume it was real,
Besides I'm hoping For Ridley more then anything so unless Ridley was on a leaked list I'm giving this Leak the same treatment as the past ones, sceptical, but Open minded.

Sakurai even said it himself that character's canon sizes do not always apply to who makes it in the roster of the game. Just look at Kirby, and Olimar & the Pikmin. Kirby is only 8 inches tall or so, and Olimar is bairly even an INCH tall in the Pikmin games, yet he's fighting against the likes of Bowser and Charizard. Which also brings my point to thos two in particular. Bowser is CONSTANTLY changing his sizes, but within the mainstream Mario games he's fucking massive. And same goes for Charizard. Also, if you use R.O.B.'s real life hight as his official height, he's only about Β a foot tall, maybe less.
THE MAIN POINT HERE IS, no matter how big or small they might originally be, if Sakurai finds them a worthy character to join the roster, they are going to join the roster. Period.

Main things FOR Ridley: Main antagonist of the games he's from, iconic, strong ties to the main character, arch nemesis of the main character, Metroid needs another rep
Basically..Β Ridley IS the Bowser of Metroid. Not having him makes as much sense as not including Bowser for the Mario reps.

There is a rumor that there will be more characters in the Wii U version. And once the Wii U version gets released, theses supposed new characters will then transfer over onto the 3ds. Some of the rumored characters are Dixie, Mewtwo, Ridley, and i few others i forgot x.x..
But yeah, that's what floating around now. And i personally think it makes sense, because we still have some room left on that "final" character select screen. o3o

I think they could have worked in Pacman. I mean, he's the GRANDFATHER of all gaming! Probably outstrips even mario in the "Really really well known" department. Sure as heck beats the blue rat and the super soldier. (I do like Snake though, just not in Brawl. I'm a professional Snake Killer.
