Eventually, the Defenders will cross the multiverse and Ruby will be one of the new members,followed by the rest of Team RWBY. In an alternate RWBY timeline where Salem was defeated in Atlas,Ruby falls from a train on a high bridge during a fight against Neopolitan. She ends up falling into a rift that takes her to Earth-1112,the Defenders world.

She is there for a month before Weiss, Blake and Yang arrive through it. From there, Earth and Remnant are united between the rift.

Ruby will have a vambrace that contains her Scroll and a hidden blade. The strap on her torso will have a magnetic clip for the upgraded Crescent Rose to store on her back instead of on the back of her belt. Aside from the end blade being altered,Crescent Rose will able to utilize Dust in both modes and Ruby can also channel her Silver Eyes ability as a final blow as it will take a lot out of her
