This is a thing. I don't know quite sure if it's an evolution or an alternate form like some Pokemon have, but it's real.[EDIT] I changed the colours, I don't know why I used a poopy brown background...

Nothing is officially stated by Nintendo. All they've said is that it looks like Mewtwo. It could be anything: A new form, an evolution, or Giovanni has been dicking around in his lab again.

I agree, especially the way it looks is just plain weird. Pokemon has been taking the different forms thing a bit too far.
