I hate the category options Deviantart has. This is a mixture of traditional and digital art. It's digital in so far as I coloured it on the computer. Badly.This is page one of my Batman homage fancomic 'Trial and Error'. It is based inbetween the two movies, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It covers how Commissioner Gordon (or Commishioner Gordons) and Batman (Batsman) work out the best way of calling Batman for help, how Batman hones his disappearing skills and more things like that.
The black and white comic will be given away at various comic events I will be attendind (starting with Low Energy Day at the end of August www.londonunderground comics.com). The coloured versions, like this page, will be going on my website [link] .
Batman and it's characters, etc are copyright to DC I guess, or whoever the owners are.
This story is mine though, so don't copy it. Not that you would. It's not exactly brilliant.

You can actually buy phones that look like the batphone. Damn unneccesarily expensive though. the ring around the glowy bit flips up and there's the dial underneath... I think.

As far as Batman media goes, I prefer the two Batman flicks done by Tim Burton, "Batman the Animated Series", "Batman Beyond", "The Dark Knight", and (to a more or less degree than the others) "The Batman" cartoon series.

The Burton ones to have a charm to them. I'm a big fan of the newer ones, too. Mostly because they fulfil the darker Batman that I read about in the graphic novels (I'm a little geeky for a girl). I saw a trailer for the new Arkhum Asylum game coming out, and am pleased to see that Mark Hamill is providing the Joker's voice

What I like about Mark Hamil's performance as the Joker is that he properly balances hilarity, insanity and menace...and then, there's that awesome laugh! [link]

Batman just has to hope that his phone doesn't go off if Gordon texts him while he's Bruce and standing next to Gordon. I'm tired. I should have worked on that sentence more.
