Ahhh I'm glad you like it!! I have way too much fun drawing pumpkins and ponies. lol I dont know what it is, but I love doing that sort of shading on the pumpkins specifically because it actually makes them look nice... and more pumpkin like.Β
I actually just sold out of the second batch, but ill be doing one more batch, and them moving on to doing some with leaves. so if you like, I can give you first sibs on the next batch? :> they will most likely be out in the next week.

Hehe yeah, except the one I'm selfishly keeping. lol I want one as my baby epona. and its totally ok, I let people who miss out have first dibs all the time. <3 and if you end up not liking any of the next set, I can give you dibs on the leave ones.

And that's really kind of you to transfer the dibs if I can't find one in the first bunch, too! I'll bee spoiled for choice when you post, haha. Definitely want to cram in as much autumn fun as possible before the winter art influx begins. But you have me curious for your Christmas plans, now, too - I'm just going to have to put myself on alert until January XD

I got lots planed. lol raffles for art and slots to my muts, (including epona and ayuma, since I did my other two starters last year) and just some gifties and huh's. I just need to make sure I don't overwhelm myself, cause there will probs be nerd group stuff to keep me busy too. lol so yes, keep watch for everything!

ooooh, I can imagine people will go nuts for a slot to Epona! Yeah, don't take on so much that you get stressed but it sounds like it'll be fun. I feel like I want to not even touch Heaven's breeding slots until she's older, and its taking me so long to work out what I wany for the pwl import I won that he probably won't exist in time for fun auctions at my end. I'll have to have a think, because it would be good to do some nice things for the holiday myself.
I'd love to do an advent calendar thingy, except I probably need to start it nowish and what with finishing up the Spooktacular and writing 50k for Nanowrimo, I don't know I'll manage it. Eyes are peeled for your stuff, though!

Hopefully! I really just want to be nice, I always feel bad for people that might not have a chance at starters for free. so one raffle a year I know isn't much. >< but I do also want to make sure there art is kept up, and there draw. lol epona actually has like 62 right now. which isn't a lot, but if all goes to plane, she will be at least past 100, so its worth a raffle. I also have two +1 mutation slots from the sppoktacular, that I could add too her, or one to her and one to someone else to raffle off. since its a bonus spot. so I have a ton to think about. lol
Trust me, I know. I actually have a ton of foals that were breed like 3+ years, and not one has a spot used or sold. as if there foals, I'm less likely to give the spots away. lol plus a ton of them have little to no art. so I want to do a sort of leasing group for them... so people draw said amount and get a spot too them. but like... there sort of a training lease. so id ask for maybe 3 training or show pics....again something that's been in the backburner for awhile. lol I want to do it.... just need the time.Β

Ahhhh lots of work! I'm a terrible writer, so id never attempt that. lol so I'm jelly of people of do it, even if they dont quit get there. but that's what id like to do, a advent calendar. I don't one alt year, but it was done every other day. lol just because I was doing it for the two breeds I like the most. so there were 24 days... but with half nerds half other breed. but I want to do one that's filly nerds if I can.Β

Honestly, I only have Heaven because someone was selling slots to their homozygous pwl mare really cheaply (considering most are serious money that I can't afford, I was amazed that the price on Helheim wasn't a typo). And then someone else was really kind and let me have a slot to their stallion completely free because she would be my first Nord. Thankfully I literally wanted the simplest geno on the planet, but without them, I would never have been able to afford her. So when she's old enough, I'd love to repay that by making a couple of her slots accessible somehow to people starting out. I'll probably end up making them ET babies, though so she doesn't carry them herself. 10 foals is a lot on a mare, and she's already won even more. But that's in the future.
Part of why I want to make my import a stallion is so (as well as having a potential breeding pair down the line) I'll be far happier using all his slots because its less toll on his body. And thanks for the offer there! I was thinking today about running a design ideas event. My problem is Heaven is my perfect Nord. I got everything I wanted in her, so I'm trying to think of another design I'll love drawing that much. And my other favourite colours just aren't coming together quite right yet. I will definitely keep your offer in mind, though
Your lease plan sounds great, honestly, but as you say- these things take time to set up. Hopefully you'll work it all out some day

Oh I totally get what yurt saying. in real life, mares would have 10 foals over years. lol so the face that nerds, and a lot of most breeds now just say that they need to be 5 and that's all. means they could have babies back to back. >> iv been supper guilty of that in the past. >> but I combat that by saying all my nords are immortal. >>

I'm definitely not social - I love being on my own - but its true that I love getting into discussions if the subject matter happens to peak my interest
A friend of mine owned a mare who had around 7 or 8 foals, I think, and her forequarters were fine, but it had taken its toll on her back end; she had quite a wide-legged way of moving, and always had a little bit of a belly as well as some conformational quirks as a result of birthings. She was possibly an exception rather than the rule (I've not really worked with broodmares) but its always her I think about when I want to breed my HARPG mares, so I get reluctant. It would be easier if I wasn't such a stickler for realism XD.
But yeah - numbers mean less when horses live even longer, and either way - they're pixels - so each to their own. I just get twitchy when I think of it

Haha, that is a complex geno! I don't mind some complicated ones, but I like the phenotype more than specific genes. I don't care how they get there, but if I like the design, whatever genes it takes is fine by me, whether its 2 or 15 XD That said, I just tend to favour chestnuts and grullas. Heaven is straight chestnut, but Fleecy, another of my favourites is smoky grulla, which is a touch more dramatic haha.

Writing isn't for everyone, that's true, and its a serious challenge if you don't enjoy it. It just means this time of year gets loopy for me
A collab would share out the workload at least, but exactly as you say; we'd each have a list of people and if we couldn't fit them all in 24 days, it could get tricky. Not to mention planning it would take time. So in the end, it would probably level out the same as doing our own

but yeah, I think its still a good idea to think about real horses in a fantasy based breed...I mean a lot of people base fantasy breed off of real life breeds...so there is a small part of realism in there. lol

Exactly that, though; everyone has their happy places, and its definitely true that some genobomb horses look just incredible 
That is a really cool idea, though - getting people to comment and suggest horses! If I don't have time for an advent calendar, I think I may have to do that if you don't mind me borrowing the concept? Its even better when you can get people involved in the gift giving season
