Long story short: I have a shipping problem.Longer: I'm in love with the new Young Justice show.
So of course, my first fanart is of a couple that hasn't even interacted yet. Even more so: The new Aqualad is my favorite character so far. But he's so stoic and levelheaded. Seeing him flustered would be hilarious!
At the end of the pilot, MM seemed to be going for SB, so I've been toying with the idea of Aqualad/Artemis, going off the vague hints of her personality from promo art. I think [hope] she's due to actually show up next week. Aqualad presenting Artemis with an origami heart on the right (yes, that's what's happening there) inspired by the Young Justice RP accounts on Twitter , which I discovered today. I think Superboy's is my favorite. His tweets are like some bizarrely hilarious disjointed poetry. But the Aqualad totally has a crush on the Artemis
I was beyond thrilled to discover this. Might color this, depending on how I feel about things after her first actual appearance. It'll definitely be moved to scraps later.

Augh nooo! It really sucks that they brought Wally back just to kill him. (tbh I thought it was kind of cheap but that's another topic)
Kaldur and Artemis were my favorite characters and I nearly had a heart attack each time they faked killing them off.

I know, with Kaldur they did it twice!!! Plus making us think he had turned! He's my absolute favorite and I was upset out of my mind all three times.

YES! I am totally on board with Artemis/Kaldur. I mean, for Wally/Artemis to work, you actually need to be able to stand being in the same room as each other, without a attempt on each other's life.

This is so adorable! I love the couple too, but the fandom makes it into a SIN if I say that. Wally/Artemis fans freak me out sometimes...

Personally, I love this shipping. These two are my favorite characters in the whole show. I'm not sure if it would realistically work out(and they keep shoving KF and Artemis together UGH), but it'd be SO awesome if we got this pairing.

I thought so, they seemed to have similar traits that would make it work... I just don't know how you would get them together in the first place(although the show has shown it doesn't really care about easing people into relationships as the MM/SB pairing demonstrates). The Wartemis pairing is just... ech. I see it more as a sibling relationship than a romantic one. Like she's the level-headed older sister and they're always bickering.
