Second commission for ~jennlantrip , of her character Vermeil and ~hierophant 's character Moth. I couldn't think of any one thing to draw, so I just drew two separate things and stuck them together. I assume in the first picture Verm was attempting to chase off some unwanted visitors? And now he's all "I don't think blowing them and all our stuff up is a good idea, Moth - also put me down", while Moth's just like "Eh, it'll be fine - also no", but...yeah, I have no idea. :<

I went so overboard (by my usual standards) on one background that I was super lazy on the other and just used computery brushes everywhere. xD; Also I used two different kinds of shading, because I cannot make up my mind EVER.

Also I cannot draw Moth doing anything other than grinning like some kinda psychopath. D8

And also I cannot figure out light sources for the life of me, HOORAY!

The frame was a pain in the ass. 8| I used some gear brushes I found somewhere on dA (THESE ), and traced lineart over them for the gears at the top - I didn't even bother doing that much for the bottom ones, though, because I am terrible. :[ To further my terrible-ness, I can't even remember where I got the computery-blueprint-whatever brushes. *SO TERRIBLE*

So, uh...yeah. Lots of experimenting went on in here, but, uh...I hope it is still enjoyed? o_o;;;

(By the way, still doing these really cheap commissions ...)
