This year (just a few days ago, in fact) is the 100th anniversary of the very first appearance of Gaston "Tubby" Leroux's seminal work, The Phantom of the Opera, as a newspaper serialization.

To celebrate (and because I apparently have no life lol), I have retold the tragic story of the disfigured genius who falls in love with a beautiful chorus girl with LOLCat macros. XD

Now, this thing is huge; it's like fifty macros long. So rather than trying to figure out how to sort it out here, I'll pass you oin the link to the Photobucket slideshow of it.
